What is the Macedonian Project?

The Macedonian Project was founded in 1996 as an answer to the calling in Acts 16:9 - "Come over and help us".

The vision and mission of the Macedonian Project is to mobilise and equip the church in South Africa to go and help take "Jesus" to the peoples within the 10/40 Window.

What is "Jesus"?

"Jesus" refers to the Jesus film. The story of Jesus is taken entirely from the Gospel of Luke. It has been traslated into over 573 languages and has already been seen by more than 1,6 billion people. It is used by more than 800 mission agencies. See The Jesus Film for more information.

What is the 10/40 Window?

A rectangular shaped window which extends from West Africa to East Asia, from 10 degrees north to 40 degrees north of the equator - this region is known as the 10/40 Window.

The area in red is 10/40 Window.

The 10/40 Window includes:

  • 61 Countries.

  • 2/3 of the world's population.

  • 97% of the least evangelized peoples of the world.

  • 82% of the poorest of the poor.

What can you do?

  • PRAY - Pray for those working in the field
  • GO - Be part of the exciting work that the Lord is doing in the field
  • SEND - Support those in the field
